Nutritional Therapy

Having suffered from IBS for 10 years, I have tried many different solutions and struggled to find something that has really worked for me. I met Jenny who sat down with me and had the patient of a saint, we have now been working together for just 3 months and I feel 10 years younger. The discomfort has gone and I’m enjoying exercise that I thought I’d never be able to do. Thank you!

I happened to bump into Jenny by pure fluke and it was the best accidental meeting ever. Having been suffering with low energy levels, tiredness and struggling to sleep even when I feel shattered, I was getting really frustrated with myself. Jenny has the patience of a saint and not only made nutrition really easy to understand, but went through my lifestyle and looked at my posture and body movement too. I feel absolutely fantastic and waking up on a morning with bags of energy is an absolute dream. I’ve just entered my first 10km. Now that is something that I never thought I’d hear myself say.

It’s day 9, so thought I would send you a quick update.
Food plan is going extremely well. First 2 or 3 days were tough, because carbs had always been a big part of my diet, and the initial 5 days was very restrictive. Having said that, as early day 3, I started to feel a lot better, able to plan meals easier, thinking about what to eat carefully rather than just convenience, and also a few pounds difference off the scales!
I was definitely a “protein” type, sussed that after day 3. Feeling full of energy, no bloated feelings, no sweet cravings. Now, I am including different types of carbs a day, and kind have deduced myself that one big problem was bread products. I used to eat quite a lot, and the only negative effect so far when introducing carbs after day 5 has been with bread. Rice/Potatoes fine, but bread left me feeling a bit lethargic, lacking in energy, and a bit bloated.
So, up to now, visible difference in body shape, clothes feel better (wearing jeans today that I have not been able to quite fit into before), around 6lbs loss so for (despite a few beers in Dublin!!) , no bloated feelings, no desire to snack between meals, No sweet cravings – this is a massive difference, because if you remember, I was a bugger for sweets. In fact, evenings at home when family bring out the Pringles, revels etc, I honestly turn them down and have no desire really.
